I know that you are looking for easy ways to detox your body and loss weight, but the truth is that if you don’t approach responsibly and if you are not devoted entirely, you will waste your time. 

It would be useful to avoid thinking that you can detox your body effectively by consuming one or two smoothies a day without adjusting the rest of your daily diet.

You see, to reach your health and weight goals could not be enough consuming one or two smoothies per day, without considering the rest meals of the day. It’s about the whole strategy that impacts all your diet.

Therefore, I call it a “smoothie diet strategy for weight loss and body detox” because it is entirely related to your eating behavior.

What is the right strategy?

STEP 1First, in next 5 days you should replace two or three of your meals with the smoothies I give you below. You have to prepare one large batch and then divide it equally into 2 or 3 cups to have for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

STEP 2: Second, if you have however food cravings during the day you can eat one or two WHOLE FOOD SNACKS. But it is important to emphasise they should be whole food snacks, as below I will list a few of them:

  • Hummus with raw veggies 
  • Legumes of all sorts (both dried and canned)
  • Root vegetables like beets, carrots, and radishes
  • Avocado cut in half and sprinkled with lime juice, salt, and olive oil. 
  • Organic Plain Yogurt or Kefir topped with nuts and/or fruit.
  • Small Green Salad with a spritz of lemon/olive oil dressing, combined with raw nuts, hard-boiled egg
  • Organic Carrots sliced into “chips” for fun.
  • Oatmeal – simple, nourishing, and delicious
  •  You can find lots of variants in internet, and to chose from them that what you prefer.

STEP 3:Third, your only meal of the day should also be WHOLE FOOD MEAL (if is possible organic). 

Eating whole foods is simple: the rule of thumb is organic, fresh, and unprocessed ingredients. 

To eat food that is as close to its natural state as possible stick to the next few rules:

Treat Your Vegetables Right. Boiling and overcooking certain vegetables robs them of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Instead, try steaming them

Cut back on processed ready-to-eat foods and high-sodium condiments, such as ketchup, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce.

Cook in the OVEN, not fry in the PAN: Food soaks up oil as it fries, therefore try switching to “oven frying,” which uses little oil but still delivers a “fried” crunch

To get the maximum nutritional advantage try to use raw and fresh products with minimal processing.
